Bus for Sale
Bus conversion for sale sign in the window got you interested? If you are ready to buy one as an RV, church transportation,
or business, be aware of the advantages and disadvantages of each platform. If you haven't seen the Bus for Sale Guide bus
make and model quick reference chart - read that first! It shows most major buses used for conversions and shows advantages and disadvantages. For instance,
older conversion coaches have huge advantages in quality and longevity over traditional motorhome RV's, parts are available for the popular brands, and
you can find them all over. They can be more expensive than an older Class A RV so you should compare. Bus Conversions are the best choice from an investment
perspective. All bus dealers will tell you a properly built and maintained bus conversion coach does not depreciate much once it is ten years old. Why?
Because the prices for new ones are so extravagantly high and nothing has really worn out or broke on the higher quality bus conversions. Buy a 12 year
old conversion, use it for 5 years, and you can probably sell it for the same amount of money you paid for it. Our conversion bus for sale

Conversions. First investigate the bus foundation. Then check out the quality and sensibility of the conversion process. You may need the help and advice
of a professional salesman, bus dealer or broker. Many of the buses sold from this website are listed and managed by dealers who
are reputable, experienced and smart enough to be worth every penny they may cost you in "markup". Usually they SAVE you money. They purchased
the buses wholesale, can mark them up for a fair profit, and still offer them to you retail for less than you might find on the street. Bus to
RV Conversion ADVANTAGES: body, chassis, engine, and transmission are designed and built to last 40 years or more. MCI's, Prevosts, and Eagles are considered
"million mile coaches" and many will be driven 3+ million miles. Hollywood elite and celebrities, politicians, and wealthy travelers use these
coaches as their home for much of the year. This is why they can be so incredibly plush. Bus conversions are nearly indestructible, exterior maintenance
is next to nothing due to use of stainless steel, aluminum and fiberglass skins. Conversions are the safest of ALL vehicles on the road for the occupants.
They are very quiet, have a smooth ride due to air ride or torsimatic suspension like the Eagle's, do not get blown off the road in high winds, and are
the best cold-weather vehicles to live in due to the distance from the ground to the occupants sleeping quarters because of the storage bays and additional
insulation underneath. Parts for the major brands are available for even 20 to 30 year old coaches from bus
parts dealers. Low production brands, imports, and models only produced one year, can be more difficult to find parts for. Bus to RV Conversions
DISADVANTAGES include: they are the most expensive option for full time liveaboard transportation. You can underestimate the total costs for having
this finest of motor home options. See Bus Prepurchase checklist
for more detail. Buses can be as long as 45 feet, heavy, scary for some to drive, steer and backup. Parts & service can usually only be obtained from
big bus & truck repair shops and these cannot be found on every corner. Parts for less known brands may be impossible to find at any price. Size
- Buses are going to get nothing but heavier as you modify them, so longer and wider (like the 102" wide models) is NOT always better. The bigger
bus gives you more room, but it might have been already at total capacity before you added 25,000 pounds of conversion. Weight
issues in your new coach should not underestimated. If you build it really heavy and it won't steer right, will destroy the engine and transmission,
will eat up the tires, smoke the brakes, flatten the suspension, burn extra fuel, and be slower in traffic. EVERY thing you do in a conversion has both
positive and negative consequences. Make sure you know what it costs you and what you are getting for it. Conduct a test drive to test acceleration, fuel
economy, steering, braking, etc. MAKE SURE IT IS SAFE! Slide Outs are of special concern on conversion buses. Many buses get a majority of
their structural integrity from the body, not just the frame. If the slide out is not done correctly, with overkill welding, the bus could buckle,
sag and eventually the slide will be impossible to keep airtight, or keep working. Slides should be "designed" by a structural engineer. Most
of the buses with slides cost over $250,000 and these are among the most incredible land machines ever built outside the military and construction fields.
Consider buying a conversion bus for sale.
